Today the latch on the glove box has decided to half fall down and pull away slightly from the surround

I can open and close it but its hard to open now ... whats going on

The catch things either side are intact $:-\$

I have managed to repair mine with just carefully engaging the pin and using butter knives at the sides to push the pin into place. Still works fine

Saves stripping it all out

Looking at that guide it looks like the pin holding my latch on has either snapped or come adrift

I believe there is a cheats method posted somewhere.I havnt tried it.

Those little pins tend to fall out....check in the glovebox, but more likely on the carpet
