Nearly time for ......
« on: 09 July 2008, 12:16:03 »

.......my annual 'not the airshow' camping trip.

Have been for 11 years to Fairford camping (either at the the Trout Inn at Lechlade or Fairford football club) to see the RIAT air tattoo and have only been into the show once.

We have a problem passing pubs with open doors!

Maybe this year will be different

.......and what's wrong with that Mark? ::)

Stay in pub, keep nice and dry and watch airshow through the pub window. ;)

That Vulcan will be a bigger pull to Mark than the Ale, but will the rest of the party allow it  ;D

Free viewing this year - just look up when you hear a loud noise that sounds like a plane. There may even be a small person telling you when to look - LOOK MASTER ZE PLANE.!!!!! Like the sight of the bottom of a pint glass better anyway.

Hope the weather improves for you Mark, with all this low cloud i doubt you will see much so maybe the pub is the better option  ;D I'm sure it will be a great sight and moment to see the Vulcan take to the sky again though  :y Enjoy your break
