Kicks off just after 1 am, leading into its full glory around 3 am.

Super Moons, Red Moons and Eclipse's aren't rare but get them going together is, last time it happened was back in 1982 and wont happen again until around 2033.

It does that... the airport is a good place for seeing such things as it's a big open space  :y typically though, I was doing 5am to 5pm yesterday so slept through it ::)

Nice pics though 8)

Very good pictures Jimbob, better than I've managed with my Nikon, which is now of an age, where more modern are in a different league for low light sensitivity, noise and image processing. I also found last night where it was very cold clear night with a high jew fall that I had to keep clearing the lens. ???

;D Shouldn't really admit it but I got up in the middle of the night to go to the loo , went downstairs bollock naked and stood in the garden looking at the Eclipse , so the neighbours got 2 full moons for the price of one  ::)
