Bugger cheers for that andy lol altho yea I agree it's working as it should my poor grammer and spelling isn't helping lol. I ment to say I was going to try and pad it so it wouldn't be so noisy when braking I'd love to say I can deal with it but sadly the ocd in me won't allow it

It should only click when the car is in park, in normal use on the road there shouldn't be a click 

Park/Neutral switch u/s, maybe? (Could try and start it in gear to find out I guess..  )

Ok took the surround up and on the left side of the automatic stick I see a metal small square box with a rod coming out of it. When I press the brake pedal this is making the noise and it's moving a hook shape over the top of another part.

Shift lever safety interlock working perfectly normally...

Pop the gaiter back and move on

It's been a while since I've driven an auto Omega regularly, but sure that it clicks every time you press the pedal...

It's obviously been a while since I drove one too ....... I just remembered it clicking when in park
