Back from the annual jaunt down to the south of France....and back to the grind

Really enjoyed it though, i will admit to being a little unsure about the Omega, remember i bought this as a non runner and since i bought it i have been doing jobs on it so this was a little bit of a suck it an see trip, i was really impressed by it, it is now staring to win me over.
Performed with no major issues, the indicator stalk is falling apart but that's not a great biggie.
On LPG i was averaging 20/22 MPG at about 69 ppl, it worked out to be on average .89 cents per litre as opposed to 1.59 Euros

(£1.39)
Had i run it on petrol i would have been getting 27.9 MPG and used about 91 gallons this was with 4 people on board all the time and air con running so i didn't think she was doing too badly and at some points we were doing slightly more that the French legal (to the point where i got GATSO'd....2nd time in 2 years whilst in France)
Having done the figures it worked out i would have spent something like £569 had i run it on petrol, as it was i spent £350 on LPG and so saved £259, that's nearly half the gas kit paid for already

Just about every filling station on the autoroutes has LPG, it is far more widely used over there and the rumours i had heard about crappy gas were, on the whole, not true, i had one bad fill up and that was from a petrol station that was right out in the sticks, all the others were fine
Managed to make the sister-in-law ill whilst chasing an E30 M3 up the Col-De-Torini

she still has not forgiven me for that, i have to say it was one hell of a road to drive, fantastic views, some great driving experiences and the restaurant at the top does some quality food whilst looking over a valley over 5000 feet up

Will post some pic up when i get home on the weekend, was very enjoyable and now back to work
BTW, sorry for anyone who has PM'd me, i will respond ASAP
