I have the Clarke/Sealey 450Nm cordless one (far more powerful than this one), and its shite. As Nick W says, only any good if you loosen bolts first, or just about manages wheelbolts if you abuse charge it, then immediately use.

The deWalt one is a delight in comparison. Despite only claiming 200Nm, its just powerful enough to undo wheel bolts without abusing the batteries. Smaller, lighter and a variable trigger as well.

I'd always assumed the original Clarke one I had was a bad example, but its replacement following the fire was no better. Nor was the Sealey I'd used in a garage. Hence getting the little deWalt (to match the other deWalt stuff my little bro pulled from a skip following the fire, and passed on to me).

The little De-Walt one I have is the 3/8" one. I have my Makita for big stuff. but the 3/8 I have for service work. Worksbrilliantly. except the dodgy securing/locking ring for the sockets.

Interesting, as I have one too and it's a tool that looked far more useful than it is. I'm glad I bought it cheap as I hardly ever bother with it. The small Dewalt drill that goes with it is excellent and is the one I use most of the time.
