True. Though my issue isn't with the availability of parts, per se, but that they didn't turn up for an appointment, which meant I had to move my car from the bodyshop where it was, off his premises, somehow get home windscreenless, then incur various costs with alternate transport for the following weeks work as they promised me faithfully several times various things, like they'd be there saturday, then monday. Then when I went to confirm the appointment was not at the garage, but my home address, they'd got that wrong (they were still going to turn up at the garage) so when they went to change it the appointment 'deleted' itself off the system and another was then arranged for tuesday. They then ring to say that a technician couldn't be bothered to turn up for work, so could they re-book for wed. They then finally turn up bringing the wrong screen. At this point I decide it's a case of say 'fit the damn screen and sod off'
I have a list of about a dozen individual lies I've been told by various members of Autofarce staff.
None of the issues, bar one, was an issue of parts availability. And the reason the screen was so rotten in the first place (and the reason it was in the bodyshop to begin with) was because another employee some years ago had evidently scratched to hell the paint surrounding the glass so badly.
Sorry, not a rant at you, Andy, you understand

just my experience. And
what an experience!
