Wiggle the connector on the immobiliser module under the steering wheel cowling.

Agreed Al . . . but surely only if OP has taken apart or messed with the key since car was last started :-\

Also guessing there is only one key available here :-\

When the Dash Light is flashing, is it flashing in a neat sequence on off, or does it sometimes flash randomly or miss a beat hear and there?

no chip in the key ??? .  do i need the ecu as well as a new key and chip

So that little black thing is missing... So Since you last ran the car,The key must of been opened up/Dropped..

Your gonna need to get one and then get on a Tec II  :y
