Salesman reckons the full size spare off the megane would fit and told me to 'steal' it before trading in, so we'll see.

Is it under the car? You'll have fun doing that, as the designer is a sadist who used to design Mensa tests. You could read the 'instructions' but they're even worse.

It's in the boot, used once, with a brand new toolkit, which I'm avin too.

1) It doesn't work
2) If it does work, you need a new tyre afterwards, cause your old one is full of goo.

The can of goo doesn't work. It just gives you a false feeling of security, brought about the car manufacturer's cost cutting and the ridiculous size of modern wheels.


This is a very scary post for me; I find myself agreeing with Stemo because he's right

It even says in the book that it's only an emergency fix to get you to kwikfit a tyre dealer.
The original bullshit was that the reduction in weight from not carrying a spare saved you money, but actually it saves them money cause a bottle of glue is cheaper than a spare wheel, and if the reduction in weight means they can creep below 99gms emissions, they can advertise the car as zero tax.

OKO works, if you choose the right version for your application and doesn't get tyre fitters in a strop when removing the tyre eventually either!
