Been to the Walk-n centre who referred me to A&E, spent 1hr there and came out with loads of pills destined to get me high for at least a week, then in for physio if needed. Think I may have a bulging disc.

Looking at the pills I got there's - no driving, operating machineary, exerting myself or drinking of alcohol  for at least a week!!!

If you have a bulging disc then do plenty of short walks to help keep the back muscles mobile, resting is the worst thing you can do as getting mobile again hurts a lot more.

Had a crackin sleep last night  Had the maximum dose of happy pills I could have at 10pm, went to bed, awoke at 12.30pm  due to the effects wearing off 

Just topped up again & feel like sommat outa the walking dead!

Not being used to medication, I get that effect with Nightnurse.

Nightnurse with a wee dram (for medicinal purposes), that's 24hrs gone.

Instead of 14hrs sleep, you'll get a few more hours in the land of nod, if you have a beer or two

Not sure what they've given you but if it's anything like what they gave me for my back, DON'T DRINK!! Made myself rather unwell with just a small glass of wine and learnt my lesson

Well just been back to the Quack for a sit rec. & he's doubled the amount of pills 500mg Co-codamol & Naproxin and is also sending me for a scan 

I asked him how long it would be to get the scan done (NHS) and he ummed & arrred. Qucik phonecall to my Health care provider at work, who said 'Fill in the form we sent you, get your doc to sign it & come in whenever you want'.

Be careful with the Naproxin, it can rot away the stomach lining and cause it to bleed

Co-Codamol and Ibruprofen (3 x 400mg tabs, 3 times a day) sorted me out when I slipped a disc in my back.... Doctor wanted me to be off work for 2 weeks, I refused and sorted meself out in a couple of days
