There about the first dealer I have heard of who dont stock them, common across quite a number of the Vx range (vectra etc).

They will get it next morning with no problems

Ow yes, this engine is common to the Frontera and Sintra and not the vectra and astra.

Ouch, i`d be intrested to know of their individual costing on HBV as its easily doable albeit fiddly and is only £20 or so quid  :-/

D1111600 - Replace coolant cut off valve - 0.5 hours
L503200 - Rear muffler with end pipe replace - 0.7 hours

Cam bel cover is not listed (that I can find) but, about 0.3 tops.

Service is normaly 1.0-1.2 hours

So, say 150 for the service, 1.5 hours for the rest so another 150 (absolute tops)

30 quid for a valve
15 quid for antifreeze
110 quid for the back box.

so, bit pricey I would say.

No there isnt  ;).... maybe just someone there to watch over me as i do something really stupid ...... i have done small things ie plugs , oil etc but i once tried to do brake pads on an old car untill the piston popped out the caliper ..... since then i've kind of left it to people that know what they are doing  ;D
