Gearbox range selctor
« on: 30 June 2016, 18:54:12 »

Hey folks. I thought I had done well having no repairs for 12 months but I now have a need to return!
I have just had every light on the gear box on at once and after a cheeky visit from the AA they tell me it's due to the range selector. Aparently Omegas are prone to it. I can't source one anywhere though! I tried Murkitts and 2 auto transmission companies who all say it's no longer stocked. As for scrap yards I have tried 5 near me with no joy.
Does anyone have a spare please, or is anyone located near Cambridge that can do the adjustment on my old one please? For cash of course. I'm supposed to be driving the kids to bognor regis next month so this is a kick in the nuts  :-\

Best to try and clean it first,  I did mine a couple of days after I bought it.
Was full of wax and looks like it had leaked in through a breather pipe

Gearbox selector switch, remove, strip and clean, fixes it 90% of the time.
