Why give it up? If you enjoy it do it. I'm sober during the week for work but love a tipple @ the weekend.
You work hard so why not? 8-)

It reminds me of the Kevin Bloody wilson song: "I give up drinking".

Oh, hang on, the Kevin Bloody Wilson song was "I give up W**king".

Anyway, substitute the W**king for drinking and the rest of the song is very appropriate. ;D

Tried it when I was 15, didn't like it, and 48 years later still don't drink except for the odd single glass of wine on mine and SWMBO's birthday. But I've always said that I've a wife and 3 son's that more than make up for what I don't drink.  :)

Mind you we never had any arguments about whose turn it was to drive home after a night out - so some advantage I suppose.  :y

Its just non stop at the moment.

I'm not a big drinker, but its been one of those months full of benders - Started with the Lakes, then the annual works BBQ at my place, then a colleague's (and fellow OOF helper) leaving do last friday, then the same guy's 'unofficial leaving do' last night (another 4pm - 2:30am mental spree).

My kidneys have just kicked back into life, so peeing every 10mins now  :-[. God only knows about the liver.

So thats it, no more for me.

Only Jimbob is over at the weekend and here's a bad influence, then the following weekend is the annual works BBQ for the company I used to work for, which is normally a long haul starting early afternoon.

So after that, no more drink for me....
US NORTHENERS WUOLDNT BE WINGING ABOUT HAVING LOADS OF DRINKING TIME!!WHATS UP WID YA LIKE MARRA ??? :y :y :P ;D ;D ;D
