I had a round the course lesson with the golf pro.
We stood on the first tee (which runs along side a busy main road, separated by a very high chain link fence), I placed the ball on the tee peg, took a couple of practice swings with my driver, took up my stance, and gave the ball an almighty!
Disaster, the ball shot off the driver at right angles, straight over the chain link fence, smashed the windscreen of a coach full of passengers, the coach swerved accross the road into an oncoming car, an artic, behind the coach, mounted the pavement, demolished a bus shelter full of people, another artic coming in the opposite direction, ploughed into the coach slicing it in half!
'Oh no!' I cried, 'What do I do now?'
The pro said 'If you move your left hand around a little, like this, and adjust your right hand like so, it shouldn't happen again'.
