OOF meet @ WIM Open Day - Sunday

Just a reminder that this meet is this Sunday!

Come along whilst Wheels-InMotion teach us all about steering and suspension geometry, and why geometry can be a big problem on the Omega.

A handful of owners will get there cars set up absolutely for free (usual cost to OOF members is £85) as the WIM guys demostrate how the geometry is set up, and show their capabilities.

Names will be pulled from hat on the day to choose which cars will get this free setup, which is the fairest way to do this imho.

All OOF members who attend will get free Tech2 diagnostics done on their Omegas.  Any upgrade or programming that doesn't need a laptop will also be for free, including climate updates!  (Gearbox updates and system reconfig such as cruise require laptop and will be charged at http://theboy.omegaowners.com rates).


So everyone will get something for free :y

But more than all that, its yet another chance for OOFers to have a meet up, and a chat :y :y


The time is 10am - 4pm on Sunday, location is:

Hope you all have a good day, just sorry I won't be there, but there is a lot of packing to do before we leave Monday, and SWTSMBO does have a point.... no packing = no holiday ... :(

having a garage clear out of omega stuff, in case its
anygood to anyone? Couple of bottles of unopened
dextron 3, set of brakediscs,and a part worn pirelli
tyre.   Couple of sets of used 4electrode spark plugs
as well but not sure about the mileage on them so
probably best to chuck em?

Anyone Passing Junction 26 / M25 on the way to WIM, My frecking MV6 has made itself at home on some ramps in my local Garage, Blocked Exhaust system !!! (never heard that one before?), hope its not just a way of the local Meccy trying to get more beer tokens off me!  >:(

If not will have to be in my Tractor, complete with ladders. :-/

UPDATE: anyone got a rear box lying arround, (Twin Pipe out, 3.0 MV6 Estate F.lift) local mechanic threating to put a cheapie single pipe box out to get me out of trouble  :(

Cheers TB keep meaning to get a TC again, dont look like I'll get a proper box before Sun any way, so I'll prob live with the cheapie Single pipe and sort it later, so I can get through the MOT for Monday. :(
