I certainly do NOT fancy the pants off Mary Berry  ???

They've had a few easy-on-the-eye contestants over the years, though..

Listening to radio 2 this morning & Chris Evans made me smile , he said " If Hollywood & Berry also resist the move to channel 4 all they may have got for 25 million is a very expensive marquee " 😀😁😂

Just for my own piece of mind, as Mrs TB does watch a load of crap which all looks the same old tosh to me, is this the one in the tent on a stately home estate, with the bloke who thinks he's gods gift?  I think they have to cook what the old dear suggests.

Or have I got it arse about face with Mastercook or whatever its called?

I dunno. All cooking programmes are the same. The TV in our house shows one of two things: Cooking programmes and "fast and loud". Depends who gets to the remote control first. ;D

No that's the one  :D :D

A grey haired bloke who is the Simon Cowell character and the Tutankhamen/Miss Marple one with two irritating lesbians 'presenting' that both look like they need the toilet desperately.

But - and this appears to be a gender thing - women love it, absolutely lap it up. Christ knows why.

Every week it's the same plot, it's worse than Last of the Summer Wine. "Oooh, this is just overbaked" "I've never cooked a --- before, eh, I'll just wing it" "oh, nooo, I forgot to put the oven on!" "ohh no, I just dropped it on the floor"  ??? seriously how many ways are there to make a ruddy Victoria Sponge? I'll tell you - ONE!! Bloody ONE!!! And it's boring;D ;D

You do have to wonder, don't you?

I'm not the most accomplished cook but I've had over 30 years of occasional cooking and generally looking after myself, less so since mrs. KW has been on the scene, admittedly. I'm sure I've forgotten to turn the oven on once or twice, and maybe I've dropped it all on the floor, although I can't recall having done so.

How do they find a group who aspire to be master chefs yet manage to do this sort of cock up every sodding week?

Oh, wait. It'll be the "pressure" associated with being on a reality TV programme.. Silly me.

And it's off to Channel 4!!!  :o :o :o :o :o :o

This is a national disaster which puts BREXIT into the deep shadows!!  ::)  If they invoke Article 50 today none of the assorted socialists, liberals and lefties will notice!  ;D

They've even started a petition which if it gets over 100,000 signatures, there will have to be a debate in the House of Commons!  ::)  ;D

This sort of programme is the real reason for the BBCs existence. It is to ensure that the people who can't be trusted to go out on their own stay indoors of their own volition. It actually makes the BBC's funding a national bargain.

And you don't have to watch this sort of thing.

Here you go Aaron, there's a choice of 2 petitions for you to sign as the official parliament site has rejected the request for a petition, which means there will not be a debate in the House of Commons.  :(   Maybe Jeremy Corbyn will bring it up at PMQ's!  :y

I was listening to Jeremy Whine talking about this yesterday. A bloke called in to say that he couldn't believe the news about Bake off, and had to pull over and stop his car at the side of the road because he was in tears !! GET A FICKIN LIFE YOU SAD BASTID.

He's one of them! Don't worry, he won't be able to cope with actual reality for long, and will be back in front of the telly very soon.

Jeremy Whine is just another part of the same thinking. It's to make the ineffective, wishy-washy, PC, sandal wearing, lentil eating, self-righteous morons think they're achieving something by synchronising the quivering of their top lips.
