Droped Sky about 2 months ago, and don't miss it one bit, far too expencive for what we got. 90% of programs were of no interest to me but to get the few that I did watch, I had to have the full package. Been with them for over 20 years and yet they still charged me £63 a month, total rip off in my opinion.
But you still chose to pay it for 20 years?
Probably more a question of it starting out at £20-30 per month, which 20 years ago wouldn't have been unreasonable, leaving it running and suddenly realising that it's £120+ and thinking opps me, that's a months food shopping

Incidentally, Quest is owned by Discovery

Can see Discovery becoming a web based broadcaster... either via Netflix or separately. Either way, £10 a month wouldn't be unreasonable imho...
That said I tend to only watch six channels regularly, Quest, Dave, Film 4, More 4, Sony Movies and 5USA/Spike, and Netflix online, ironically using a Sky connection

We don't have multiroom as the extra cost doesn't justify the time I would watch it for, although downloaded box sets would save having to buy them... which would mean entering the digital age... why buy imaginary things when you can own a physical copy
