Hi all

The Omega B will became a modern classic like the Omega A / Senator B before. But first the "last MOT vehicles" have to die out.

The situation here in Germany is, that most of all remaining Omegas are daily drivers with a long list of pent up maintenance. Real good cars are rare and meanwhile expensive, specially the PFL .

That is a good reason to hold and restore an Omega B. So I do on my Omegas.

Rolf

Yeah indeed. Good Omegas in the continent command a good price. It makes it a bit depressing seeing good examples selling for peanuts in the UK.  ;D

I have no idea why there's no mention of the 2.2, the site seems to be backed by DVLA, the reason I asked the question in the first place was that a nother site listed above came back with different numbers but was far more complicated as there seemed to be a lot of repartition, that said I was tired at the time.

As said, that site and many others clearly using the same database, are woefully inaccurate.  There are a number of reasons why, but the end result is its a waste of time. Ignore it, its utter 'dangle berries'.

The data is all here in excel format.

https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/all-vehicles-veh01

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/575753/veh0120.ods

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/575754/veh0121.ods

there are 3553 omegas licensed of which 1411 are V6's - only 107 are Mv6 Autos like mine - but not split into estate and saloon.

Try the Filter function in excel !!!!

For tax reasons you'd think the DVLA would have up to date info?
I know that's logical but seemed a good place to start, thankfully while my CD is a 1999 car it's one of the few to ba any colour but silver

Well as you ask, mine has been off the road for a week and a half with a cracked and leaking oil cooler and a bill of £1500 would put some in the scrap yard in the sky.
Thankfully I'm picking her up.this Friday all being well
