Who need enemies with friends like The Donald. In today's press conference he admitted that Moscow Micky talked about sanctions with the US Russian ambassador BEFORE he was appointed as a National Security Advisor. It has been a criminal offence, since the Logan Act of 1799, for a US PRIVATE citizen to officially discuss US foreign policy with a foreign Government official that the country is in dispute with.

The way things are shaping up for The Donald, he will make Tricky Dicky look like a saint in comparison.

Like I previously said, when your countries Intelligence Community know all about your dirty washing, it has not been a smart move by The Donald to start a verbal war against them, as Tricky Dicky when he did the same found out to his cost.

But Hilary would probably have been even worse. The bigger picture in all of this is that the Liberal elite who have slowly taken over and almost ruined the western world in the last few decades, are on the run and hopefully going to be consigned to history.
Regardless of anyones individual like or dislike of recent events - Brexit, Trump, anti liberal elite / globalisation movements in France, Italy, Holland and elsewhere, are the reaction of those ignored and lied to by the likes of Blair, Cameron, Clinton, etc. and its having the effect of an earthquake.
We can only hope that when we come out the other side of it, that a lot of the wrongs of recent times will be righted and we can carry on in a sensible direction, with common sense restored.

The trouble is the pendulum is swinging fast the other way towards the hard right. It will not stop in the middle and I see some echoes of the 1920/30s growing across Europe and the USA.  Heaven help us!

I seriously doubt the pendulum will swing too far for too long. It wont be allowed to happen. There was no internet to keep people informed in previous times,so its really unlikely that scenario could be repeated. It will hopefully settle back somewhere to the right of centre (by previous rather than current measurements) once the dust has settled.
Trump is no Hitler. Not by a long chalk. He isn't intelligent enough for one thing. He may be proved to be an idiot, time will tell. I don't mind as long as he is a useful idiot, in the cause of turning back the tide of left wing infestation and brainwashing of the west.
The main potential concern imo, is Russia. I'm not sure if they really are the threat the mainstream media want us to believe they are, or not. I think it seems difficult to tell.
We will no doubt find out after the EU has collapsed. I would guess 5- 10 years.

Ah, do not be fooled.  Hitler was actually not clever at all.  He was a chancer, a gambler, and from 1941 he made so many stupid errors that his luck ran out and ultimately cost him the war. No, Hitler had a conviction and an uncanny way with people. He had eyes that"sucked" people in; a hypnotism that many witnesses commented on. Also, and very importantly, a great orator with a message the average German loved ; out with non-Germans, foreigners; building the strongest and most modern military; rebuilding German industry and creating a greater, stronger Germany. His message of reversing the evils of the Versailles Treaty of 1919 that was hoisted onto the poor German people by the foreigners and aided by the Jews and Communists, the enemies of the Third Reich, was underlying all this.

Trump is actually preaching a very similar message; just look at his ban on certain people of other races; his forceful message against the Mexicans; his attack on the free media, and his constant message of making "America great again" by way of building up the industry and military, with even dangerous words of threat against China. He has also already created the type of fear and distrust within the US that Hitler did within Nazis Germany, albeit without the rounding up of "undesirables". But if you follow his rhetoric through to a possible conclusion, he is on the way to that.  The only hope is that the American people are not in the same position of the German people in the 1920/30s, and are used to a liberal, free society.  This is what will bring down Trump.

May be to date, and I hope you are right. 

But many protesting Americans, and others, are already comparing Trump to Hitler and Nazism.  Certain politicians in the US are also comparing Trump's action to ban a number of key news broadcasters, including the BBC, from news conferences as something akin to Hitler and the Nazis.

As I stated the American people will stop Trump, but there are all too many similarities between Trump and a fledgling totalitarianism.
Always remember that many in Germany considered Hitler a joke in the 1920s, and reckoned he could be controlled in 1933 when appointed Chancellor.  No one was laughing later. Let's just keep an open mind that's all.
