Fingers crossed.  It all happened in the sun then car was parked  :D  Hopefully as Doctor Gollum has indicated there are some connectors passenger footwell so its hopefully one of them.

I dont want this to be the reason I have to get rig of the old girl  :'(  She only has 62k on clock  :D :D :D :D

I thought that the pulses originated in the ABS ECU, & then fed them around using the red/blue wire?
This is so... Need to establish if it the loom or ecu... Loom is easier to test at home ;)

If no continuity between main loom plugs (by battery) and cruise, that would suggest loom issue, not ABS ECU?

Or have a missed something?

That's my conclusion too.

I have no continuity from the bottom of the RH round plug by the battery tray (as in my pics) to the Cruise contol plug / unit (both BLRT wire.) I DO have continuity from the pin on the ECU (pin 9) to the top of the round plug (the BLRT wire) so it's connected that short distance at least  :y

Hopefully I can test the continuity to the plugs behind passenger kick panel and see where we go as I believe from word of earlier wisdom there are some connectors there where I expect it then should go onto the radio/Speedo and cruise plug so I hope it's from down in the kick panel is the issue.

Fingers crossed and hopefully I can report better news tomorrow. :y

It would indeed. But as yet the loom between the ecu and said round plug remains untested. Basically the break, if indeed the cause, could be anywhere between the round plug and the cruise. Radio is a convenient mid point. Continuity here to cruise would suggest the problem is literally to the left of the car. Kick panel plug to radio and sunroof would then narrow it down to the stretch between kick panel and abs ecu/round plug. This would be relatively straightforward to repair by running a fresh wire between the kick panel and the Abs ecu. That the TC works suggests that the engine ecu is seeing a signal... A good sign if small consolation ;)

And most importantly that the signal is actually being generated - ECU should be ok
