Virgin.
« on: 16 August 2008, 21:42:40 »

If anyone is using Virgin broadband in lancashire they may be a few problems connecting to the net. I don't quite know what the problem is but have had a fair few phonecalls to come and fix computers. I rang virgin earlier and they say it is a problem with Lancashire as a whole and not just a few computers.

You'd have to have some pretty big boots to get all the way to the Virgin people that I get on the end of the phone.

Seems they are using NTL's internet infrastructure rather than their own, and you have to share their internet capacity with all those hammering their 20Mb connections...

Not even the sheeps!

Virgin in Plymouth was great, Blueyonder hardware and Blueyonder customer services - just Virgin's icon on the bill.

The shame with Virgin is that they have done nothing to sort out NTL's massive failings.

That sounds like an enquiry and not a question  ;D
