She who was never obeyed is'nt here to read it. At a young 45 i've chosen to go it alone & the last 7 years have been the best. No great shakes, just able to make my own decisions regarding money, spare time , work everything really. To be honest i do'nt think it makes any odds if you're male or female, relationships are hard work & i'm as mentally lazy as i am physically, & i'm shallow so i do'nt care what sort of day she had or want to hear about it. I'm blessed with a small circle of good friends but i do'nt want any more relationships.
     No bitterness to any of my ex's but it's the queit easy life for me!

Been thinking along those lines myself recently, long story......

i think living with meggy is harder than living with daft woman
we all like the car and cant see a spot or fault

one of my ex's was so stupid it was unreal.
even though we both bought the same part for her car i bought the genuine part at £7.49 she got ripped off and got the same part for £32.99.
she was so annoyed that i got the same part cheaper she told me to take mine back for a refund!!??
on another occasion she got a puncture when a large screw went through the tyre, she then said it will be ok again if we screw it back in?? i had to tell her that it was not meant to be in there in the first place!!
one more time we were measuring up curtains in a living room and i told her that 96"x67" was gonna cost £42 she then said will it be cheaper if we bought it in cm's !!!  nuff said...................

I went to hire a van once.

The guy showed me to the van and then proceeded to tell me where the indicator stalk was etc. like I was a complete idiot!

Just recently I took a car to the garage for a new back box which I told the mechanic.  He said he would have to examine it first.  I felt like an idiot again!

I've been driving for 20 years and have had about 30 cars!

My wife was intelligent frugal fun and the love of my life. We now have children (boys 13 and 15) and she now appears to be stupid blind and a spendthrift.
I believe in my wifes case having children has turned her that way. A mother can see no wrong in her kids, even when it is staring her in the face.

I know it is not PC to say so Kate ,but women really are more happy and feel more secure when the man is in charge.
Have you watched Tribal Wives on BBC2 lately,the men are very much in charge and the women are very happy that they are.
Our western women could learn a lot from these supposedly backward people.
