Well yes, there is that as well.    Laughing and farting go hand in hand after a couple of beers when you get to my age.    I'm pleased to report that I've had no accidents yet, although I've come close..... very close.

She'd miss me too much.    I'm her personal builder/carpenter/electrician/plumber/car mechanic etc. ... That's why she'd miss me.

I have a friend who was made redundant a few years ago , worked for the same company since leaving school so well over 40 years got around £15,000 redundancy but had never had an occupational pension, I really couldn't believe anybody could be so stupid for that length of time.

The Govt. doesnt go bust. It just borrows or prints more money , so your safe.
My pension did the hokey cokey with SERPS years ago. Im completely lost with it and wont know if its right or wrong, even when Im living off it.
What I do know is that if I dont work until Im around 70, it will be spuds and only spuds, with no Poteen to wash it down with until I go to the incinerator.

I would like to think that we are 100 percent safe re our pensions but as I learned years ago always expect the unexpected , and that will assist your survival.
