Mrs rang me earlier to say that it took her 10 minutes to get on to the M1 at junction 36, it was rammed on all entry roads. Apparently, when we come out of 'lockdown' on December 2nd, some parts of the country will have to remain in tier 3, but pubs serving food can open till eleven, gyms can open and all shops. What's all that about?
What's it all about Alfie? A great girl from Liverpool once asked that:

But seriously, I do wonder about what is being done; what we are doing. Today my daughter got a telephone call from her eldest son's special school stating that 2 members of staff and 4 children had been confirmed to have C-19. Her son is actually at home after have a high temperature for half a day so he was sent home last week.
So this afternoon he went to be tested, with the result due over the next 72 hours. But did his school or her youngest son's school recommend the family (and me as I am giving her support) should isolate / get tested? Well no. Just wait for the result apparently. The boys father, who lives elsewhere but sees his son daily, also apparently does not need to isolate and can still go to work until the result is known.
This instruction from the schools does not make sense, so we are all now isolating until the result is known, as 119 gave her that advice but did not instruct us to get tested.
We are baffled why we should not be tested as the special school has the confirmed cases, that even one of their teachers did not know about as she was off duty so was told about it all be my daughter. The school indeed is staying open. So do the authorities really know what advice to give and for the reasons for it?
I find this as confusing as the so called "lock down", which so many seem to be ignoring. No wonder North Kent is becoming rampant with COVID cases!!
