In biking terms its nothing to get excited about. 1 litre sports bikes these days tend to have as many or more BHP,s than KG,s.

It's ample for a  tourer.

Best sport bike's have around 220  BHP and weigh around 160KG.

It is indeed. A lovely big thing for long distances. Im a bit sceptical about some of the power / weight figures put out by manufacturers, but theres no doubting the bikes are absolute missiles.

A mate of mine did the same on an RD400 right in front of me. He hooked it up in first, went into second, then into third before it came back over on top of him at 60ish. His back was like one big raw steak.
How we larfed. 

Peaky nut-job 2 strokes with frames and swingarm made from old shoe laces were always entertaining.

Oh yes I’m well aware of R1. And Fireblades etc and unfortunately I have plenty of metal in my leg from motocross years ago. , but a nice looking machine although I won’t get on a bike again

Liquorice I believe was the chosen material. Certainly gave me some serious frights, when I was too young and stupid to remember the fright long enough to stay away from the bloody things.

less petrol spill on the road when he gets a tank slapper and he's Tarmac surfing on his arse for sure 
and if he don't get 10 miles then he can drain out and get the mower running again
(once some of his skin has grown back)
