So we are turning the world upside down and abolishing all known norms as well as strictly limiting freedom of speech and expression for 0.015% of people who could possibly in certain circumstances be adversely affected by something - maybe. 

So minorities (about 5% who are trans based on official estimated figures) do not matter and should not be protected?

Free speech is great and I fully support it, but when it hurts and badly affects fellow human beings it must be controlled.

I am of the opinion (along with most people) of thinking that trans surgery should not happen until the person in question is old enough to consent......that is  not an impressionable child who may well change their mind,.......wow shock horror how evil.

You either have freedom of speech or you dont. Having controlled freedom of speech is like being a little bit pregnant.
If you disagree with what someone says dont ban them from saying it, argue against what they said.

Yet again you are misinformed!!!

No one under the age of 18 can undergo  gender reassignment surgery in the UK.  A child needing to go on puberty blockers MUST also get permission from the courts if it can be proved by professional that it is in the child's best interests.

What has the USA got to do with all this in the UK?
