Went to visit friends in Oundle today noticed his neighbour had a lovely looking Audi in his drive it was a 5.0 Q8 never even knew they existed seen plenty of Q7s it certainly looked a nice vehicle.

Not a class of car I've ever liked that much, but they seem very popular round our way so I must be in the minority

I think this is the 5 litre V10 Lambo lump.

Slightly detuned but should still be quick enough.

If only It's the hateful 4.0 V8 with the turbos buried in the V and rear timing chains.

Modern Audis are best bought new and dumped before the factory warranty runs out.

There may be some confusion over the new trim level badging of these new Audis. 50 Q8 (or the other way round?) does not mean 5.0 litre, 50 is the trim level.

Seems a daft way to badge a vehicle, would never even consider an Audi as a purchase , but the stance & looks of this model looked impressive.

A friend of his had one as well, which also ate tyres like it was going out of fashion apparently.

I'm sure Audi use the Lambo V10 5.0 in something.

Were they formerly Omega owners?   Although Mercedes strut front ends kill tyres too

Doesn't the 50 relate to the KW power output of the engine? Audi dropped badging the engine litre size for the KW rating several years ago.
