Guessing, off the top of my head:

LPG kit complete with tank

It's condition is unknown in that it's never worked properly, so peanuts I'm afraid :(

full heated leather

In it's condition, and being facelift - £200

various body panels

Not a lot - bumpers maybe £50 if good. Headlights, etc.

headlight washers

Are they not built into the bumpers on facelifts?

3.0v6 engine and autobox with 76k

AR35 - £80. Engine - £250 on ebay perhaps but you have the hassle of taking it out

very tidy well looked after elite alloys on recent tyres

£200?

irmscher grille

Not a clue - £100??

bose sound system inc sat nav

If it's CID like mine with the headunit and entire system - £300 maybe?

recent exhaust - worthless

It's certainly worth thinking about, in your situation!

If you do break it, I WILL have the LPG kit off you :y

Nice one James.   ;D ;D ;D ;D :y :y :y :y :y

Brilliant way to get cheap parts for your car.

Will have to remember that method.

Shoot it down 1st and offer peanuts later.

Especially when yours needs a new exhaust and the LPG is probably something or nothing.
  :-/ :-X :-X

There is a fundemental flaw in your theory.

Danny's car is a Saloon, mine is an Estate. The entire cat back exhaust system is totally different.

So how can this be the case?

I'll have the Headunit, display and associated parts and possibly the front bumper if you break it!

Put me down for the boot spoiler! ;) ;D

In addition to this - why on earth would I travel a 500 miles round trip (which would cost me about £80 or £90 in fuel) to buy a used pattern exhaust (which wouldn't fit anyway!), when I could click a couple of buttons on ebay, and get it delivered to my front door!

As far as the LPG is concerned, let's look at the facts. It's never worked properly and despite spending a day (voluntarily, I may add) trying to get it to work for Danny, I couldn't fix it. With kits that we know well going for very low money - it's common sense that one with an unknown issue, that requires a good day removing neatly from a car - isn't going to hold a high value.

I've spend countless hours helping members here and TBH at the moment, I feel that it's ME being shot down, and I really don't see why.

I dont have the ability or local contacts to be able to get the LPG sorted, i'd have to shell out yet more cash to a fresh company in order to get it repaired, and even then i doubt i'd be able to add the finishing cost to the selling price to get rid

Obviously Danny gets first refusal, but if he declines, maybe you'd like to give me more information about your estate ::)

as tempting as the offer is, its the tied up cash i need to release, even considered selling my corsa to get a £500 cheap thing for work, purely to release cash, saving for a house, and i need to be able to park my corsa off the road!

was offered a facelift GLS on a 1999v with 126k and in nice condition earlier this afternoon with £1200 on top for mine, had to turn it down even though i think the GLS could have taken a grand

I'm wondering if the "team" that was doing LPG conversions could get together and attack yours ... it can't be that major a problem that those guys can't sort it .. they did a full install in 3 days ... so a weekend to sort yours ???

Just a thought .....

Make that 2 days ;)
Happy to contribute, if something suitable can be arranged. I didn't make as much progress as I'd have liked when I visited Danny's car last - but in fairness there were too many faults with the install for me to fix in the few hours I had there  :'(

did some searches on the LPG forum for any possible solutions or suggestions but found nothing with omegas that had OMVL systems so i dont know how much use their site could be, but the only one with and OMVL that had an incorrect RPM signal was a volvo and replies suggested reconnecting the wire further down or further up, and changing the coil settings on the software, but whether or not that helps on an omega is anyone's guess
