The amount of morons driving along the Ai4 near BSE with no lights, or only DRL's at the front, in foggy conditions.

But the lights are automatic, they switch themselves on. I don't have to think about things like that. Or much at all, really. 

It always amazes me the number of people that drive first thing in the morning on just DRLs .... when I've pulled up alongside them & suggested they should/could turn their lights on, I've just been met by a blank look! 
My ML's light switch doesn't even have an 'OFF' position.

Neither does my astra,  but it still won't put the lights on for fog.

Very thick fog round here today used all the lights on the Range Rover today front & rear fogs, when I took Deezil for his walk over the farm this morning, only saw one idiot with no lights on at all .

The thing with DRLs is that they tend to throw a bit of light forward and light up the instruments so anyone half asleep doesn't realise that they actually have NO rear lights on.

I've seen it on the Interstates as well, so it's not just an UK problem.

Still incredibly dangerous though.

Absolutely, but the government decided that because people are stupid they shouldn't have any responsibility.

So let's say the daft badger driving their Kia Mumsybus down an unlit dual carriageway/motorway at 50 in the middle lane, when they get run over by anything traveling at a vague impression of the posted limit, it's entirely the fault of the person that ploughs into them. Apparently.

Can't stand fireworks, although I can't see them being banned anytime soon I don't think they should be available to the general public, organised displays only for the morons who want to watch them and only up to a certain time.

I agree completely. In private use they are very anti social and terrify pets. Time for a ban.
I also cant see the attraction. When youve seen one fireworks display, youve seen them all.

I quite like the displays that Mercedes F1 put on for bonfire night. Free as well.

But that start at 7pm, and not designed to keep whole communities awake.


Next year I might buy some Black Mambas, and shove them up the jacksie of the R Soles who think its OK to wake every oppser up.
