Listening to Starmer talking utter shite about how things will change about knife sales, a bit late to start back pedalling now.
I was amused at the plans to take driving licenses away from benefit cheats  ;D
We're back to the desperation of Bliar marching people to cash points to instantly pay their fines. Knobs.

.

Does anyone actually think that benefit cheats bother with licences insurance MOTs & anything else to do with being law abiding? Knobs indeed .

We thought the same. You couldn’t make it up.

Now impound the car. Of course then they would claim unable to get to work ……

Im actually uneasy about this.
We all hate benefit cheats, but once the state establishes its right and authority to pry into, and take money from citizens bank accounts, it could easily be the thin end of a very big wedge.

According to what has been reported recently as from this month they will be looking at anyone who receives any benefit at all , apparently this includes people who are in receipt of state pension they really are getting desperate , just a shame they don't treat the illegals with the same contempt.

Quite rightly they do look at expats living overseas drawing state benefit.

You get a letter to complete and signed/ stamped by an official to prove you are still alive. Plenty still drawing dead partners state pension.

I wonder if, in our lifetime, state pensions will be one means tested

BA, for charging my lad £70 to sit in a seat that wasn't already booked.
Then the dreaded SSSS on his boarding pass.

My advice to anyone is not to rely on the state pension to give you a decent retirement,  it's beneficial to have a good private or occupational pension in place as well , I don't know if it's true or not but I have read several times that the UK state pension is one of the lowest in Europe.

Yes definitely. Possibly during this Parliament as well!  >:(

After robbing Uncle STEMO and Lord Opti of their Winter Fuel Allowance, it's a silly question....  ::)                                                   ;D
