In the case of the flights, did you not have to prove you actually took the flight to be entitled to the compo?

No. And how could you take a flight if it was cancelled?
Surely you had to be booked on the flight?

Booked - as in paid for a ticket - Yes. To get the 99p fares, you were travelling hand luggage only, and checking in online 30 days before departure. Therefore, the airline has no way of knowing if you had actually turned up at the airport for the flight or not. I mean, if you live close to the airport, why would you go there if the flight got cancelled more than (say) 1 hour before scheduled departure time?

Yes, of course, I should have realised that.

More importantly why would you ever fly with Ryanair... ;D

Me, flying out from Malaga. Key requirement is middle of day flights. My days of getting up early or arriving at 11 pm are done. Whoever has the decent time gets my money.
That's no excuse. Even Vueling would be better ;D

Egay sellers listing their shit as Fast and Free delivery, when they CBA to post it promptly.  I mean, they are clearly thick, as most postal services clearly show on tracking when it's been accepted into their network, be that the postoffice or Evri shop...

As a seller, if you CBA to go out to post, then don't list it as a fast and free delivery. It really isn't difficult.  I know, I know, the dog ate their homework, or granny died again, blah blah.

Full marks to a ching chong chinaman seller though - ordered via ebay late last week, dispatched from China promptly, arrived yesterday.  That said, I have another I ordered a couple of weeks ago from China, and thats been sat at East Mids airport of over a week, so guessing thats now lost, though not the sellers fault.
