Finding out[not the hard way fortunately]that someone or more than one has allowed their dog to crap four times on my back garden and not bothered clearing it up. >:(
Don't invite them back >:D

We have the same issue with cats. Not having a dog to chase them out of the garden really doesn't help ;(

Get a tiger between you, it will deter domestic cats and dogs of all breeds from depositing faecal matter randomly around your gardens, mm.. thinking about it that could be a bigger problem as it would probably defecate at a greater magnitude and who’s going to stop it🐯🐯

On the plus side, I could feed it with the 'driveway specialists' that were out robbing canvassing en masse yesterday. Opposing vermin :-X

Cisco.  Useless bunch of idiots.

Apparently it is expected behaviour for the OS to lock up when a single drive in a RAID1 fails.  Well, in my experience of Cisco shite, yes it is normal behaviour.  But it shouldn't be.

I can't seem to get it into their thick heads that it's kinda pointless having a mirror is it's not resilient against failure.

And whilst ranting about Cisco - it's a daily chore in my professional life - their useless crap servers....

Like all server manufacturers, they provide an out of band management capability, provided in Cisco's case by what they call Cisco Integrated Management Console, or CIMC.  And it goes non responsive all the time.  It has a watchdog timer to restart it should it go unresponsive, but apparently that runs from the CIMC itself, and therefore goes unresponsive itself at the same time.  Cisco's solution, rather than fix the bloody shit?  Suggest we do a 260 mile round trip to pull the power cables out for 2 minutes.  The irony of having to do that to fix out of band management is lost on them.

I mean, when was the last time you saw an HPE iLO of Dell iDRAC lock up?  I'm guessing never.

Ah, but I bet its not locking up all the time, and basic functionality is always available.

iLO (and it's forerunner, RIBLO) has always been rock solid, with the issues on earlier versions around java version on the client browser not matching, and the unpatched iLO4s eating their NAND through excessive writes. But they always still worked.

Unlike Cisco shite.

Yes, never had no functionality.
I'll also bet that on your HPE servers, a failed boot drive in a RAID1 doesn't bring the OS to a crashing halt either. In 30 years of working with Proliant servers, under the Compaq, HP and HPE brands, I have never seen one crash just because one of the boot drives in a mirror failed.

The worse I ever saw on a Proliant, an old Compaq Proliant 2000 I think it was, running NetWare, I hot swapped a failed 500MB drive, and it all started smoking badly until I yanked said drive out, sadly not before all the fire alarms and suppression* systems went off.  NetWare remained running.

*Halon days, thats how long ago that was.

The drivers (well, one of the drivers) in front of me who were travelling at 60mph but decided to come to a complete standstill because an Ambulance on blues and twos was approaching from behind. With heavy traffic coming from the opposite direction, the Ambulance was stuck. Well, until a driver coming from the opposite direction had the foresight to give them space to continue.  ::)
Why don’t drivers just keep moving and allow the emergency vehicle to pass when it’s safe to do so. At least that way, the emergency vehicle is still making progress, and my blood pressure wouldn’t rise due to screaming at the driver who stopped.
I honestly think that they should run adverts to publicise this more, as some drivers just panic.
