Metaphorically it's just another brick in the wall of the erosion and conversion of the world that we ,of a certain age ,grew up in and enjoyed.
The steady change that we witness all around us is normal and continual , it happened to my Father and his Father before .
Unfortunately with the advent of Social Media , modern technology and a diversity driven left wing dominated educational system it's change is factorial rather than exponential.
I'm at an age now that although I deeply dislike what I see daily ,I have resigned myself to the fact that I cannot do anything about it . Soon , well not too soon hopefully ..., we'll be gone and the second generation after us will be Kings , and they'll get the world that they choose to have .
Reap what you sow springs to mind .
Steve's interesting post is just indicative of the direction that the UK is travelling it makes no sense to me at all , but tell me what does in this day and age .
It's a very alien world to the one that I enjoyed up to about ten years ago .
That's exactly why I posted it in a matter of fact way. It's just not worth spending the rest of my life fighting a war that cannot be won. In the big, wide world, my opinion counts for nothing, I'm just a daft old pensioner who is underserving of enough money to keep me warm

The next big thing will be the UK cosying back up to the EU, causing much angst from the same group of people who rail against racial equity. Again, I'm resigned to that fact.
