The garage where I fill up serves me so I’m ok.    How old school is that.   

Mind you, if you drive a diesel you only come into contact with a pump nozzle once or twice a month, whereas if you drive an EV you could potentially be touching a shite contaminated charging connector every other day. You’d then smear that shite all over that lovely touch screen. Food for thought though, especially as I bite my nails.

Asda provide plastic gloves, occasionally. So I tend to throw them in a rear door pocket and use them again.....and again. They turn themselves inside out when you take them off, so I'm wearing someone else's shit on the inside of my glove.

I’ve got a box of gloves in the boot of both cars but I know what you mean. Not the easiest of things to get off are they.

It was probably a backward step from newspaper or dry leaves, which would at least 'absorb' runny turds.
