YaBB.pl files
« on: Yesterday at 17:19:14 »

Hi folks....
I have what seems like a couple of bulbs out on the dash, behind the speedo. I have gone through the Search system, and there are some links on how to do the job. However, when I click a link, I get a download Yabb file. Is this where the instructions are hiding, and if so, how do I open the file !!!! ;)

In short.

Wheel to lowest setting.
Remove column shroud to easily access the screw retaining the filler panel and bottom edge of cluster... Be careful as if it drops it can land in the upper column pivot joint.
Tilt the centre vents up or down and pop out.
Remove the two screws now visible.
Undo the screw at the inboard end of the cluster.
Pull cluster out unplugging the MID/TID/Nav display as you go.

Bulbs are then easily and obviously accessible  :y

Refit in reverse etc...

Perl is broken on one of the web servers again, and it really is a PITA to sort out.  YaBB.pl pages are pages on your original software, before we changed to the current software about 15 years ago.

He is the link to remove the dash:

There is a brilliant index to common tasks as well - https://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90633.0

If you get stuck removing instrument panel, pop round :y

You can probably also replace the www.omegaowners.com bit of URL which has YaBB.pl in it to oldsite.omegaowners.com which bypasses the (broken) redirect on our primary servers.

Its quite nostalgic looking around https://oldsite.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl ;D

I agree, it is nostalgic.  :y  An awful lot of names from the past that are sadly no longer with us. Some very good help threads as well,  :y  and some very humorous threads.  :)

Those were the days.  :y 8)

Still, its pretty remarkable that OOF is still going, over 20 years since the car was last sold and now very few left on the roads.
