Have to say, tried IE7 for a week. Hated it!  Too many random crashes and pages failing to load.  >:(

Went back to 6 (which is no mean feat to remove all of IE7!) and all is good and stable once more. :)

Maybe a re-install of XP will fix the prob LB.....obviously summat not quite right going on there....ive been using IE7 for a couple of weeks and no probs  :y
In fact installing it fixed my sound card problem  :D

I put IE7 in as part of the updates on a fresh XP install (total rebuild).  IE7 has not crashed, but constantly fails to load pages or loads gibberish.  I like the tabs, but other than that it is junk.

Hi Guys

I have had loads of trouble with both I6 & I7, for a few months now, been driving me mad. >:( Pages crashing mainly. Tried Firefox, along side I7. but found certain pages wouldnt load and then it took over the machine, so ditched it.

I decided to look harder at finding what was wrong with I7. I dont have IT background. Found this site really usefull.
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx

Turns out my problem was with add ons. Shut a couple down and so far okay :y I hope

I have gone from it crashing several times a day to working fine for a few days now, and sorted a couple of other small niggles as well.

Try the site and put a search in for your problem.
