Passed MOT
« on: 17 October 2008, 18:26:36 »

Popped the new spark plugs in and sent my 2.2 down for its MOT.

Passed, no advisories! mechanic said it was spot on  :o

Was surprised cause i know the rear handbrake is not holding on the drivers side.

I will give it a treat tomorrow with some fresh oil  :)

Cover it in WD40 now, if its the original. Mine was a bugger to remove.

Tunnie, thats not an excuse to leave that handbrake for a year - that needs cleaning up quickly, and this weekend is looking nicer than any others for next few months!

You'd better off covering it in a penetrating oil! ie Easit. Plus gas etc etc WD40 is a water displacer .... hence the name! ::) :y :y :y

If you leave that much longer, rather than it being a simple and cheap job, it will be a bastard, and expensive.
