 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)  So you notice my qualification for entering the United States Presidential Elections next time round?  I can mis-pronounce words, get facts back to front, and state publically I am in a different country than I really am!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Regan did and Bush does this well, and the other day Barack Obama managed to say he had visited almost all the States of America......47....and he still had one to go!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D ;)
That reminds me....anyone remember Hawaii 5-0 :y

Back to the thread of abandoned cars.

Years ago I worked in a city centre office and on site parking was limited. Despite having a barrier, one day a taxed Mini was parked in one of the spaces. It was there for ages. We contacted the police and they said it wasn't reported stolen and there was nothing they could do.

That night at the end of work it was pushed (handbrake on) out onto the double yellows road. The very next day it was towed away!

OK, well I've taken the first steps to gain an interest in this car. I've filled out a form at my local DVLA office to request details of the current registered keeper. If they agree, I should find out next week sometime. The tax expires on 31st October, so I hope that I can get going before the council come to take it away and crush it.
