Christmas present conversation - sort of.

The Girlfriend turned to me as she was leaving the house this morning and said "what do you want for Christmas?"

Quick as a flash, I looked up from my laptop and OOF, and said

"V6 cambelt kit, please!"

She gave me one of THOSE looks and left the house. I think I might be getting socks this year.

She just doesn't understand. The minute I start talking about the mig, she loses interest. She can't think why I would want a cambelt kit for christmas!

I agree. I'd get better use out of a cambelt kit than a Wii game, for example.  ::)

Exactly. We both know someone who bought Mrs DTM an iron for Christmas a while back.  A very nice iron as well.  Just what every girl needs I would have said.

Me neither.

It was a useful present that she can get enjoyment out of every single day.  I think thats really sweet and loving.  I never knew Mr DTM had that level of romance in him...

...whats wrong with such a nice gift? I think it was such an excellent present, that as previously said, she would get daily use out of.  And, bless, I'm sure it would remind her of his loving, romantic ways everytime she used it.

Marks DTM I estimate..I'm the same ;D :y

Personally I believe that the gifts must be somewhat useful :-/

But women  much prefer things emotional :-/
