Me no understandy the opposite sex...

...whats wrong with such a nice gift? I think it was such an excellent present, that as previously said, she would get daily use out of.  And, bless, I'm sure it would remind her of his loving, romantic ways everytime she used it.

It's a hiding to nothing even trying.

If Mrs. KW were to purchase me a 2 post lift for the garage so I could change her oil without having the crawl under her car and risk being crushed, I'd be over the moon.

As was mentioned last night, actually, I did get away with a hostess tray last year. It's great for keeping her wonderful cooking take-aways warm.

I can fully understand Mr DTM's shock and surprise at the reaction - I've been there myself, after having spent ages deciding on a useful present, only for it to be ill received on the day. To this day cannot understand her point of view - she has had lots of use from those jumpleads ::)

They just don't appreciate all the effort we go to to try to find something both useful and "from the heart". There are so many other things we could be doing at 3:30PM on Christmas eve, but we make the sacrifice nonetheless.

Don't see whats wrong with useful presents?

Saves unwated crap cluttering up the house  :-/
Exactly. We both know someone who bought Mrs DTM an iron for Christmas a while back.  A very nice iron as well.  Just what every girl needs I would have said.

Women. Can't live with them, can't shoot them.

aye, can't understand why she was so ungrateful  :-/
Me neither.

It was a useful present that she can get enjoyment out of every single day.  I think thats really sweet and loving.  I never knew Mr DTM had that level of romance in him...

Either you lot like living dangerously,
without getting your leg over, or
you need some serious lessons in romance!
;D

Reckon mr DTM is still paying for that particular trick! ;D

Yes
Not bothered
No, i am the most romantice person I know....

I bought my wife an iron one year, she loved it, in fact half the street have used it, i wasn't too happy about that, after all i had recently told Mia off for letting half the kids in the street ride her bike

only problem is the house gets like a bloody chinese laundry once she gets on a roll

no that's not here
