A real good gripping story is "A Matter of Honour" by Jeffrey Archer, don't laugh until you have read it...
Really is Class would make an excellent film :y

Based on fact but fictional characters.
I have The Last Templar in my collection a really good book. If you enjoyed that I would recommend Robyn Youngs books http://www.robynyoung.com/
also Bernard Cornwells "Grail Quest" novels, which is also based on fact, yet these stories main character is an English Archer. My second all time books the Grail Quests
http://www.bernardcornwell.net/index2.cfm?page=1&seriesid=6

George R R Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" are the Best books ever in my honest opinion.

A Brief History of Time ...by Stephen Hawking....for the second time as sadly I 'am too thick to understand it all in one read.

And a book on classic British cars from 1930 to 1970...a good read. :y :y

In the middle of Jimmy Whites autobiography. And on the look out for Phil the power Taylors autobiography. Also Agree with Markey Mark Steven Gerrards & Robbie Fowlers autobiographies very good.
