I used to go ice skating every week when I was a lad and would love to go again but the wife isn't so keen

When you were a lad, you were only 5 miles from the rink!  bit further now I reckon!

Housework, Christmas decs up, boring stuff I reckon, still beats work!

Oil change on my car
Perhaps do some work on the house
Maybe clean the cars
Throw the mother in law out

Saturday: Swimming lessons, Gymnastics, Schools fair
Sunday: Gymnastics competition

No - I don't take part. I am just the driver and sit and watch

My time is no longer my own.......

Hoping to squeeze in a trip to the breakers yard on Saturday for a foglight for the wife's laguna. Actually, it's a great yard. Just like the old days. You take your own tools and clamber over all the cars and everything! Thought H&S stopped all that sort of thing. But not here!

Pick up new car transporter tomorrow ( brand new)

Then spend all day working out how to reverse it in the drive.

Costco on Sunday....That will probably cost me more than the trailer as SWMBO is coming with me  :-/

Saturday - drive wife to school Christmas Bazaar, make hasty exit, come home, stare at wall for 3 hours, collect wife from school Christmas Bazaar, come home, stare at television until bedtime.

Sunday - drive to Bury St. Edmunds to spend £25 voucher (wife collected mastheads from The Times for a month) at Waitrose, possibly go and visit daughter in Lakenheath and get a cup of tea, come home, stare at television until bedtime.

God, I don't think I can take the pace of modern life much longer... :(
