Morally right or wrong?
« on: 12 December 2008, 00:02:16 »

Michael Donovan was attacked inside resulting in a broken jaw & facial injuries ;D. Karen Matthews is said to be scared for her safety & is on suicide watch (probably because she has to work now).
Yesterday Jeremy Vine asked the question, "Is it acceptable for folk who've comitted such offences to be at the mercy of other inmates?"

At least some real justice will be spent....even if it may be seen as wrong!

They had no thought for their daughters wellbeing, at least they are big enough to try and protect themselves. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

i agree, being a parent i found this quite disturbing and sad for the child, shes been let down by the people who are supposed to protect her and guide her through life. she has been scarred by the worse thing that could ever happen to a child in my mind and deserve the humanity that they showed on that young girl. if i was in prison i would risk extra time to get a shot at them too. just hope they both commit suicide, best all round i say including the taxpayer who has to keep this scum in luxury(which it will be) for the rest of there lives in prison

This must be hard on the young girl though! Whatever they have done they are still her family and all this must be prolonging the agony for her! Imagine how she would feel if they were killed or committed suicide!
Poor kid! :'(

I saw that documentary about it on the telly the other night - the most charming thing I heard was other people living on the estate hoping that once the girl grows up, they'd love her to come back to the estate and see all the people who looked for her when she was 'missing' and who cared about her enough to put their own time into looking for her.

At least the estate has proven it's worth, even if the childs' own mother let her down.
