Went to Milton Keynes the other day to get some bits, decided to give it a good blast since Mother filled it up  ;D

Reset the mpg and gave it a good hard run, several overtakings from 40-85 mph 6k revs, generally driving it a lot harder than i usually do.

Roughly a 55 mile round trip, mainly country roads including town driving popping to the bank and various bits.. got home and it registered average of 30.4

Not bad considering the amount of town driving and the way i drove it...

my 2.0 omega GLS, although obviously not neck snapping, still seemed to have a lot of "guts" in it.

Well done on getting it all put back together, any chance of an update if/when you come to remove the bolt as I may attempt this on my dads car aswell eventually.
