Santa brought a Wii for Xmas (with Mario Cart) but I can't even use the thing tonight as my daughter has taken the primary controller to a sleepover.

How can I synch the other one so my missus can get back on the Hoola Hoop in Wii Fit - it's hilarious to watch :y

open the little front cover on the wii, press the red button, also press the corresponding red button in your other controllers battery compartment.  Jobs a good un.

Esp now I've remembered to change the WPA key on the Wii (after recently changing WPA key on Access Point, and wondering why Wii stopped working!)

I got my backside well and truely spanked the other day - 7 lightning clouds in 2 races - and I was at the back in each time  >:(.  Knocked my race rating to 4600  >:(
