rolling road graph

just been having a proper look through the bumph that i got with me car , and have found a rolling road graph from last owner showing
max power  206BHP@5973 rpm  [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]
max torque  194lbft@5173rpm   [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

all i am aware of maggie havin done is a courtney panel filter and a powerflow back box

is this any good she has done 176000 miles and is a 1996 car??

I am quite impressed as i believe this is very close to the power when new?

Similar to factory quoted figures.  Though it is said that the factory figures are pessimistic.

Even so, good figures :y

are they any good as have been offered one foc from the guy who had the car b4 the guy i got it off?
are they hard to fit?

by the way the 20 times start of the car has cleared fault codes from ecu
cheers for the advice
will take it work in morning and see what codes i get

Proven 228bhp on a car that has done 124k ish, and is in need of a good service, and thats without using any high octane fuel (optimax or similar), so i would say not bad  ;D

And before the 'all rolling roads are different' arguements start on the same day an Astra coupe and a VX220, both standard 2.2s, returned figures with 1 bhp of book, and an Astra VXR came in at +2bhp over book

how about ease of fitment , bearing in mind i tried to change a switch bulb and ended up melting the blue plastic and solder into one yukky mess [smiley=huh.gif]??

heres the graph . dont know what any of it means maybe you guys can de cypher it?
if theres anything to see?

as i have said before i have always been a one for buy it drive it break it fix it and make it worse then sell it so this is new to me ::)

Tyreburner, and Tina.

I can recommend the Mtek chip, nice upgrade, and I will be fitting another one (or 2) very shortly to the current Omegas.

Definite improvement in power, and no loss on the economy side either. :)

Interesting....I suspect the multiram is not fully functional at the moment as the low end grunt is quite down.

It's almost a carbon copy of the readout from my old Senator when the DR wasn't working properly. The sharp hike when the butterfly opens looks like a fault with the valves

Blip the engine whilst looking at the front and then the rear multiram vac actuators (see maintenance section for more multiram info) and check they are moving and free (they should move quite quickly)
