Long story so bear with me on this one.....
About two weeks ago i rang my insurance company who covered me on both my astra and the mig. I wanted to have astra insurance swapped onto the senator. They told me this could not be done as the astra was on a modified vehicle insurance.
Basically I went to Ecar for senator insurance and told current insurers by letter, to cancel astra policy with immediate effect and send out my no claims discount proof to send to Ecar.
Wednesday night about half 7 I got a phone call off the astra and mig insurers asking if I was sure i wanted to cancel the astra insurance as I would loose 9 months no claims and the last 3 free months and I said yes.
I received a letter today off Ecar chasing up the ncb proof and they added that if it wasnt with them by the 5th of feb the senator policy would be cancelled.

So this afternoon I rang up the other insurance company to chase up the ncb proof and they said that the astra insurance was still "live". I told them it shouldnt be and in true insurance broker style they put me on hold, returning in 5 minutes to tell me they had "ACCIDENTALLY" cancelled the mig insurance!!!!!!

So for the last 3 days I have been driving mig with no insurance. After a few swear words were said to them I was put on hold again!
About ten mins later they came back and told me they no longer use the insurance company I was insured with on the mig and that the cheapest NEW quote they could get was nearly £70 a year more, I would totally loose my 9 months no claims and 3 months free insuranceand have to start paying again which over the 3 months will put me out of pocket in the region of £180.

After a few more select words they told me they could do nothing for me so I asked to speak with his manager who just happened to be in a meeting as they usually are and informed me he was a supervisor.
Obviously not being very happy with this I started to get a bit angry and the guys attitude was like it or lump it.
Im now reinsured but pappin it as the senator insurance looks like it will be cancelled on the 5th Feb which is the day Im meant to be picking it up from the bodyshop.
Im going to write an email to this company and tell them what I think of their customer service and the attitude of one of their so called supervisors. is there anything else I can do people??? Any help greatly appreciated
