would it be worth seeing a nutrionist, its a bit hard living alone and you cant be bothered a lot of the time and i dont want to drift back into junk food. just had 3 months of bad health, dont want to go back there again.

It was actually my 'stop smoking' nurse that got me to see the nutrisionist, she thought I was severly underweight! Now up half a stone and not smoked for 10 days :y

i am now real bad. and im feeling the cold because of it.

Yep, been there. Next time your down the quacks ask to see the nutrisionist.

This is quite a touchy subject for me guys, :-[

im 33 and i weigh between 8 and a half and 9 stone,i have a 28" waist and all my clothes are small and to be honest some are even xl boys...
and in all honesty it depresses me quite a bit, dont know if its a macho thing but i hate being so bloody thin.....

No matter what i do i never put on any weight...

Dont get me wrong i dont want to be fat but i would love a couple of stone..... :-[

Ive tries all sorts from wife's tales to build up drinks etc, seen Doctor's and nutritionists etc and nothing, and i mean nothing actually puts on a even a single pound........

You can go into any shop and they have an outsize section but have nothing for thin folks, and it can be quite embarrasing at times :-[

I know exactly how you feel, and as for the cold :( I have a low weight problem, worsened as the result of health problems over the last few years, seem to be up and down weight wise, depending on how I am feeling, at my best it is never very good. I get these special 'Milk Shake' drinks through the doctor, via the hospital, they help a bit, sometims. :)

Wish i shared your problem mate. I'm trying to get rid, nearly a stone since the middle of January & counting. I feel better already, less breathless, more agile etc. & i'll stick at it. No fancy diets just not eating late, taking less sarnies (pack up) to work & chewing gum (spoggies) when mouth hunger kicks in. If you want to put on weight supplements are no healthier than pigging out. I can lose the pounds with a little self discipline, some can't no matter how hard they try, as some will be thin despite what they eat, i was thin til my late 20's/early 30's but a sedentary career & aging metabolism mean i have to work at it now & it's working albeit slowly!
Why do you want to put on weight?

Amigo....

Trust me mate its not nice being so thin,i dont know if its a blokey macho thing or not but its really not nice when you try on clothes that are size small and they are too big....

I bought a pair of school trousers once for work, because we wore grey trousers, and the size i had to get were age 13/14! :-[

Does nothing for your ego...... :-[

I dont want to be fat by any means but i would love to put on a couple of stone....my weight for my height and age should be betweeen 11 and 13 stone,im 8 and a half to 9! so technically im unhealthly under weight.....

I'd be delighted to be 10/11 stone.....

You hear of overweight people being depressed and even suicidal about being so heavy but it works both ways...

Jeez!! I had absolutely no idea that so many people suffered with these problems. Overweight, yes, but underweight? I've been thirteen stone or so since I was 18, so guess I'm really lucky.
In Richie's case being underweight is health related, obvously. But if you're underweight but perfectly fit otherwise, why worry?

Because i do eat,im never done eating....i just dont put any weight on!

I think to be honest its a 'man' thing....

But i can pack a punch! pardon the pun,i got a fair amount of power in my arms etc but its hard to show a 'presence' if you know what i mean when you are built like the side of a fiver!! ;D

Its amazing, even in this day and age,how many people dismiss you because of your size......
