The lowest face value coin I would pick up is a Third of a Farthing......................................................................................................well it is from 1878, in mint condition, and many years ago I researched the value to be told it was worth £70! 8-) 8-) ;)

;D ;D nice inflation there Lizzie :y Incidentally talking of coinage as we are. Have a look at your £2 coins, moreover the queen on the back. If she is smaller and has her necklace on then the collectors will pay for them, Sold the one I had left (after a friend of middle daughter's stole 3 of them to buy fags  >:( ) for £25 :y

Quite a lot of people............leave/forget .............to take the pound coin out of their shopping trolley...................I always have a quick scan when I 'am at the supermarket..............and have picked up a few quid that way.

A good tip to to keep an eye on geriatric pensioners...........arthritic fingers have trouble retrieving the coins. ::) ::) ::) ::) :y :y

So, people will pay for a picture of the queen wearing just a pearl necklace.

One of my mates always used to throw a 2p coin in the urinal in the Gents at our local. One or two times it had disappeared next time one of us went in for our next pee ;D ;D
