Work.

What would you like to have done instead of what you are doing?
I drive a truck but if not i'd like to be a dry stone waller. I'm impressed with the way these things are put together, proper skills. :y

i am a Technical Operations Analyst for a mobile content company, i would have loved to be a traffic cop, however whilst i would love the driving bit, nabbing un-insured drivers, chasing people, its the chav scum i don't think i could handle, or the paper work!

I have thought about taking a LGV course...... way of recession proof my income, i have the disposble funds at the moment to make that happen, and it could give me and edge if i am ever made redundant and need to find another job, as i do like being behind the wheel!

Interesting answers. My other trade would be a "Proper butcher" a sadly dying trade. Still have one in Immingham. The old boy is stooped but wields a mean cleaver & will cut any joint of meat you want in front of you. Him & his wife also make all thier own game pies, quiches, cakes & loads more. Sells venison, partridge, pheasant etc. fresh bunnies, homemade burglars & hostages, thick rashers of bacon off the pig. None of this prepacked muck. Supermarkets brand them "finest etc." & charge twice as much. ::)

Have thought about a LGV couse myself as I have some funds which could be spent on it. Also like being behind the wheel. Love current driving job but would hope to earn better money if LGV :y

When a child toss up between train driver and an astronaut.

Now no real idea but wouldn't mind being in film or TV.

I like NLE but don't think I'd like to splice film.

Camera usage is good too

From what i read you need to have a Class C first, then you can go for the bigger trucks, quite a few trucking places around here, as we sit in the middle of the M40/M1
